Week 4 Blog DUE 9/26/08
Some of you have been slacking when it comes to a couple of things. Make sure you are using the proper format for turning in your blogs....we've been over this many times, make sure if you are handwriting your blogs that I can read it. Also, make sure that you are providing me with details. Some of you scratch out a couple of lines at the beginning of class and class it good, while others do complete research and give me a proper write up. Those of you choosing the first option are losing points on your blogs. Please also remember to list your sources.

Blog Week 2 Due 9/12/08
Welcome to week 2 of the blog. The requirements remain the same. Remember to put your name, date, hour, and blog week at the top of your paper......and to site your sources. Blog Week 1 Due 9/5/08
Hi Guys and welcome to the blog. Each week you will have an online assignment that will be posted to this blog. These assignments will have something to do with your class that you can explore online. You will be responsible for completing the assignment and turning it in at the beginning of the hour on the Friday of that week. No class time will be given for this assignment and you are expected to complete the assignment on your own time.

Points may be deducted if the above procedures are not followed.

Alright Gang, this may possibly be your last blog of the school year (but never say never!!)

Fashion InterviewThis assignment will give you an idea of the fashion industry in recent years. You will have a chance to talk with parents and other adult friends and family about their teenage fashion look!!
You will need to do the following·
Compose five (5) questions you could ask an adult about fashion during their teenage years· Interview two adults using your questions. Write down their answers·
In a one page document create the following to be turned in:
Name and relation of the person you are interviewing
- Questions and answers of the interview
- Answers, in complete sentences to the following (for each adult):
-What is your opinion of their style
-Compare/Contrast your style to the style of the interviewees
-If you have any pictures of the adult fashions you could scan and add to your paper, that would be a bonus!!!

This week we will start talking about sales. Salespeople must know what motivates customers to buy and what decisions customers make before the final purchase. Although there are many reasons customers purchase products, their motives fall into two categories: Emotional and Rational. Use your research skills to find the difference between emotional and rational buying decisions. Describe the difference and list some products that fall into each category.
