Week 6 Blog DUE 3/7/08
Today is all about the "green industry". The green industry is one way to describe all the businesses that create products or provide services that are designed to help the environment. Your blogs this week, will relate to different issues surrounding this new and exciting industry.
Entrepreneur
This week, I want you to research the green industry. See if you can find out how many new businesses have been added in green industry in recent years. Research and tell me the types of businesses that are being started to support peoples desire to be environmentally concious. Give examples of 2 specific businesses and tell me their story. Don't forget to site your sources.
Business Law
Your assignment is to look at new environmental laws are out there. List and describe 5 new laws that are designed to protect the environment. It can relate to food, fuel, water, animal, chemicals.......anything!! Make sure to list the date of the law, the state it was passed in, and your source.

Take a look at the car industry. How are dealerships marketing their vehicles as being energy efficient. What are some of the new cars out there. How are they energy efficient and how are they being sold to customers. Give me examples of three vehicles. Make sure to list your sources.
